My husband created this bar height table by forging/welding a wheel, sprocket and axle from an antique 'New Idea' manure spreader that was rusting in our field.

Does anyone have more information about the New Idea?

Nice job on the table. Lots of info on New Idea out there. The “new idea” was the installation of the beater wheels that separate the clumps of manure and fling them up and away (and sometimes forward).
