Who out there can help me design a control? My homemade outdoor wood boiler has a bimetal damper control in the door, made out of an automatic choke, that opens as the boiler cools, and vice versa. It works really well, BUT. When the fire goes out, the damper is completely open, allowing cold air to run through the stove. The circulating pump is always on, so it is then circulating cool water thru the floor PEX. I'd like to either shut the damper when the stove is out, or shut off the circ. pump. Any suggestions? I can do the work, I just don't have the where-with-all to concoct the right solution. steve
