They will catch skunks !!!Use a foot trap found via Google or TSC or Boomgaars. Looks like a short piece of pipe. Catches raccoons only as the have to reach down into to get bait and trips trap.
Won't catch anything else.
Use cat or dog food from a can for bait.
Yes, while anchored with one paw the free one will tear up anythiny within reach.Tie it off really really well
They are crafty especially when trapped
Although rare, a rabies vac. dog can transfer rabies to humans through its saliva.Quick & free entertainment.

I use a live catch trap with marshmallows for bait. I also scatter a few near the trap entrance. A word of caution; skunks also like marshmallows.I want to get rid of raccons in my barn. I have barn cats which have done a good job of riddance of rats and mice. I have set live traps, but the cats get in the traps.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. I am sure someone will suggest to burn down the barns. Not going to happen.
I hope ya put them out of misery with a 22 or something.I use peanut butter on a cracker for bait in a live trap then I pour them out, the buzzards get meal.
This. Use miniature marshmallows as bait. Drop two or three in it and scatter a few around it.

My uncle was reducing the population at his place. My aunt was a softy and didn’t want to hear about it. My uncle’s line was that he was relocating the coons. The unspoken part was he relocated them about 12” down.Yea definitely put them down
You cannot relocate a racoon far enough away
They will be back
