Mist green 880

I have just purchased a 880 LP that looks different from my other
Oliver tractors. The serial # is73701872. According to the ser. #
it was built in early 1959. I understand that the mist green
tractors were built in January of 1959. I have one or two other 880's that were built in 1959, even though they are all appear to be original paint, they are all faded about the same. This 880 is lighter
color than the others. Any help will be appreciated.

There's a serial number range for those mist greens somewhere. Don't have it right in front of me.

The mist green range should be 73639 thru 73891. The starting point is easy--it is the start of the helical gear transmission. There were 252 serial numbers assigned but 249 built. I believe I read that only 4 were LP models, 70 some were diesels, & the rest were gas. I also read that they were all row crops.
