    building rear platform for hauling wood on an 8n

    Man i live that one cut out weight for valve stem. Got to take two off and duplicate that cut on them. Did two of these come in an original weight set when ordered new? Oh yea...like the platform to haul wood on.

    cold starting

    I think all answers are close to the normal start up. My '52 six volt like this morning @ 32 degrees....start to spin, pull choke for a second, soon as fire up like said before enough tickle of choke to get some what of a warm up.     Original Ford 9N Jubilee with3 point

    Thats like any yellow, tail wheel airplane is called a "Piper Cub" It could be a $150,000 Cub Crafters PA18 Super Cub and it's still the same. Guess all of our tractors are destined to be called 8N forever.

    One more question before the snow falls.....

    One thing to think about when talking about batteries........I had to replace the battery on my 52 8N yesterday. I had purchased it less than seven months ago but when i told dealer about it he advised it had in fact been on shelf two years before i got it. It was replaced with no problem but...
