    1466 IH slow to get oil pressure

    I think I'm missing some parts on oil filter housing. I took the hex head fitting off and all that is in that bore is a spring, nothing else. Thanks for the diagram.

    Have a 1466 IH that is slow to get oil pressure on the gauge. Tractor has been overhauled about 700 hours ago by an IH mechanic before I bought it. Guy that owned it said it was always slow to get oil pressure. If it sits for a couple of weeks it will take 30 to 40 seconds before oil pressure...

    Put a new coupling on the right hand top side of the tractor, hooked it up to a 10ft box scraper that I had to run full throttle to lift before, now it will lift it up easily at an idle. Thank you very much for the great advice.

    Have a nice 1030 Case that will not lift a 6 row John Deer 7000 planter. Took the valve off and added 2 shims .040 that makes .110 worth of shims in it now, did have .070.
