    I blame the low turnout on the weather. Our local plowday by Osceola was this weekend and the turnout was way lower than usual. Most guys were taking advantage of the beautiful weather to get their crops harvested.

    Exhuast pipe threads

    What size are the threads in the manifold that the exhaust pipe screws into? 2" pipe thread? Where do you find a tap that big? Local IH dealer doesn"t have one, plumber only has the dies to thread the pipe. PS. I"m in south central IA and this is on an H.

    H popping out of gear

    My father-in-law has a '46 H that wants to pop out of 5th gear. I remember reading about the problem on here, but can't seem to find those posts. Is it a bearing problem or a gear problem? Thank you for any replies.

    Cutting torch flash arresters or not?

    I thought they were an added expence untill I watched my brother-in-law blow one of they hoses off his torch. If his hoses weren't old and ready to be replaced anyway, we could have had alot bigger problems.

    My father-in-law recently bought a 46 H. He was wanting to put a flashing light and a SMV sign on the rear of it for road travel.     CENEX vs FS Premium Diesel fuels

    We burn about 50,000 gallons of the FS fuel a year. The guys running the Gold package all swear by it-claim fewer gal/hr in tractors and better MPG in trucks. Service is the main reason we went to FS fuels.
