Powermaster decal
Thanks for the info guys. I have not gone down to the base coat yet. but cannot feel any decal though the paint. Total restoration will commence next year, so I will find out then. -

Working on a 1957 960. I was told that mid-year the 960's came with the "Powermaster" decal on the hood. Would like to verify if this is true. If so can someone tell me the approximate serial number this started? Mine is serial number 124607 so I assume it is early to mid year mfg. I see... -

Restoring the steering wheel from my 1957 960. Question? What color were the steering wheel spokes from the factory? As well as the large nut holding the steering wheel onto the shaft. -

I just ordered bushings for mine from McMaster Carr. They were about $35 w/o shipping for the better grade. Also ordered a conical compression spring for the seat height adjustment. I just took measurements from my seat parts to spec out. Will know next week what modifications if any will be... -

I am restoring a resto-ride seat for my 960. I am to the point of ordering bushings. My question is: What keeps the front bushing on the seat arm/base from coming out during use? I see no way of retaining it once it is in place. Can anyone shed light on this or maybe I am missing something... -

That makes sense about keeping the bolt from vibrating out. I will have to free it up and then find a stout enough spring. Thanks for the replies. -

Started restoring the resto-ride seat for my new to me 960. and have a question. The flip over bracket that attaches to the seat pan has a threaded stop on the front of the bracket. I assume this is threaded so it can be adjusted for seat height? Correct? Mine is stuck and have not been able... -
