    1206 picture

Yes, that is Farmall Fred's. That old cab is one hot & noisy old tin box but it's still neat to have it all original. Farmall Fred had it out in 2012 at our plow day and it's still a great old horse. Wish I had a dollar for every acre of ground that old girl has plowed.

    1206 picture

I spent a lot of hours on that tractor. It was purchased new in 1968 by my father and uncle. Still owned by their sons. Still does whatever is asked of it. The family still has the model 700 6-16 semi mounted plow that came with it. Believe it or not it is still running on the original T/A. It...

    Another Source For Plow Parts

I hope that this does not violate any rules on this forum as far as advertising. However I know that a lot of folks are looking for a source for antique plow wear parts and I just wanted to share this information. It is an email that I received this morning. John, Bill Sanders was the owner...

    915 Combine

I have a 915 that also does the same thing. The vent or filler cap that is blowing oil out is for the 90 degree gear box that connects the hydro to the engine. The reason that it is blowing oil out is that the input shaft seal on the hydro is leaking and over filling the gearbox. I removed the...

FYI John's forklift conversions(Farmall BN's) up on ebay

Thanks for posting about those. I first saw one of those on a blueberry farm in SWM back in the early 1990's. I was doing service work for Walker Sprayers and went to a farm that had just purchased a new Walker Sprayer and he had 3 or 4 of them. Did John's do any Farmall C or Super C's? Always...

    Rich Jennings - hauler?

I have known Rich for over 20 years. Super nice guy. I've had him haul 2 tractors for me in the last 2 years. A 656 from MO & a SMTAD from KY. You won't find anybody more honest & reliable than him. I thought he was quite reasonable also.

    Old Adages

Several years ago, I was putting up a horse coral with wooden posts. An old timer stopped by and asked me if I had checked the phase of the moon. He told me that if I put wooden posts in during a full moon that they will not stay in the ground as well as posts put in during a crescent moon...

    Stupid question

I've thought the same thing about their ads. Heck I don't even hardly pay any attention to them because I dnow they are so ridiculously priced.

    Small tank on M.

Baelee05, I am in the final stages of restoring a 46'M that my Dad bought new when he came home from WWII. It origanlly had the starting tank and I can remember it on the tractor as a young boy. Some time in the 60's it was removed to be used on another application. I found a replacement...

    My how times have changed...

Our local NAPA store is just like that. It used to be locally owned and many times the owner waited on you himself. Now it is owned by an out of town group that owns 6 or 7 other stores. If the "counter clowns" can't punch it into their computer they aint got it and they can't get it. We now...
