    Do animals think evil thoughts?

    what is your favorite tractor

    I've got a '71 Massey Ferguson 150 diesel that's hands down my favorite. Owned it since new. Also have a 4440 Deere that's been here since it was about 2 years old. Looks like it'll outlast me. Just recently bought a 7830 Deere that I'm taking a real shine to.

    Nonsense.... Didn't happen. Sounds like the typical Binder faithful excuse/bash Deere kinda comment. Patents are now expired. If the fast hitch was as wonderful as some people try (unsuccessfully) to portray it, the design would find it's way back into the market.

    No till

    I started no tilling in the mid 80's. By '91, was 100% no till. My yields match or exceed that of my neighbor who is still 100% conventional tillage. It takes a full commitment to the practices of no tilling. There are also hybrids that do much better than others. Just "trying no till"...

    If nothing else is clear after this thread, it is the fact that bigoted, self centered, close minded people will NOT buy a Toyota. Other than that, We're all good.

    During the latter years of the JD71, Deere contracted with Yetter to build the #71 units. I don't recall off the top of my head exactly when Yetter started building them, but it was somewhere in the late '70's. When Deere dropped the #71's from their product line, Yetter bought sales rights...

    Camry's built right down the road from me in Georgetown Kentucky. A large part of the support industries that build parts for the Camry are within a 50 mile radius of Georgetown.
