    I got a 2wd 2550 open station that has 1 set of remotes and I would like to add a float position to the rear remote. Does anyone know what exactly I will need to do to achieve this? I had a 2555 years ago that had float but it was a cab machine with 2 sets of remotes. Thanks

    Have a 1947 D with a dltx 63 carb. Every where seems to be on backorder for fuel nozzle. Wondering if another would substitute like A or G nozzle?

    I agree with your statement but the 2555 and 2755 share the same cooling system and just about everything else the same down to the lug nuts, it's not gonna hurt the tractor to bump it up to 2755 spec which is 75pto.     man I didn't think it was this complicated, I figured you removed the rhombus shaped door on the side of the pump and there is plate in there that is turned to increase fuel delivery. But I guess I was wrong....

    I am interested in turning up the fuel just a little on my jd 2555 because its nice to have a little extra grunt on hills. I at first thought these tractors had a stanadyne/roosamaster style pump but turns out they have a lucas cav style pump. Does anyone have any experience turning up this pump...

    I have found a really nice 2555 with 4wd, cab, hi lo trans, and just about everything. The seller doesn't know if it is the turbo version, isn't all the 2555s with a cab and hi lo trans the turbo version?

    thanks for the replies, I still don't see how john deere says a turbo'd engine is going to make the same power as the naturally aspirated engine. The 2555 and 2755 use the same exact turbo too.

    I see that the 2555 was offered in 2 versions a turbo and a non turbo. I have heard that the turbo 2555 will dyno the same as a 2755, is this true. It really doesn't make sense to me why they would make 2 of the same tractors.
