    bigger carb?

    i built a farmall 263 last year to 291. running a 656 carb(i was told)now.runs way to fat down low runs great on top. but i cant get my rpms much over 2800.would another carb help these issues?also was thinking of experimenting with e85 witch i was told will require more fuel on the high side.i...

    Lowering The Front End

    i beleive it changes things. changes your foulcrum(sp?) helps plant your rear end.

    ?s about using the T/A

    you should actually never use the ta. pick the gear that you don't have to shift. ex. 2nd high is faster than 3rd low. so if you run out of power in 2nd high and had to pull the ta you should have been in 3rd low to begin with

    hitch position?????

    36 in. is waaay to far back. that's double any rules i've heard of. the downward pull will change drasticly if pulling from in front or behind the axel. if at all possible i wouldn't pull from the draw bar. that will change balance if attached at center of tractor. if you get to much down...

    i'm in ne ohio. a freind is working on a deal for a d21 allis. i'm trying to find a good class for it. it was a really hot tractor a long time ago but is somewhat dated now. i need some rules to follow to know if we build it up or tune it down. thanks

    is there a website with dementions? what i really need to know is how far i can take my 263 safely. will a 291 piston drop right in. and are they available? thanks

    foam in your rear?

    i've heard of people using foam to take up oil space. how is this done? how does it adhere? if it came loose it would be a disaster. i'm talking rear end between bull gears in a 560 thanks
