Thanks Destroked 450 That makes sense (the moving with the release bearing). Cleaning out the grease in the cup and putting in some new grease sounds a lot easier than trying to clean the hose as well. Sounds like a plan. I have been using the loader a good bit since I got the tractor last... -

The picture looks good to me. Sure better than none. 8) Thank you. My only question is: Is it a rubber hose or is it a metal line? It may make a difference on just how aggressively I try to clean it out. If it's rubber I may not try hard at all to keep from rupturing or breaking the 30+ year... -

The tractor is my 1978 Ford 515 (Industrial version of the 4600) and the part is located on the right side of the transmission. I have looked on Messicks for this part (both under the 515 and the 4600), have done web searches and looked in the service manual but have yet to find it shown... -
