    Yes I beleive this is it and after looking at again last night the weep hole is closer to engine than I thought and is indeed I think the seal behind the clutch throw out bearing as thats the weep hole im referring too in the illustration. and its hydraulic fluid not oil so its the trans side...

    NO the leak is definately between the transmission and rear end. The weep hole has a cotter pin in it. all fluid has leaked out I assume up to the leak point and thats why I think it may very well be the pto shaft end seal?? but I will get a picture of where it all leaked out from and post it...

    I have a Jubilee and all the hyd fluid has leaved from the weep hole. I think its the PTO shaft inner seal. I swear I saw a post here somewhere about it and how to replace. I assume you split between the trans and rear end of tractor to get to...but Not sure what I will find when I get in...

    OK starter is totally shot. Took out and it does not spin. check solnoid first and its definately starter. got a new starter on order...the click was not bendix gear but the solnoid.... so....and all fluids put down in cylinders flowed to oil pan... I think im on my way to getting her...

    she was running totally fine when I hit the switch to turn her off. I plan to pull starter and drive belt off to ensure im not getting any resistance from anything else...... I can hear the bendix gear being thrown when I hit the start button at this point but again...as you guys...

    that sounds good by doing that I "lock" the differential between the two wheels right. OK... I didnt think of that. that if I jack it up and spin the wheel in gear the other wheel will just spin inn opposite direction. GOOD point. I think I have to rock it in neutral first as I can get it...

    My old 8n had that issue plus missing teeth. Had to split it and put new ring gear and bendix for good measure.
