    Question on 340

    A friend of mine is looking at a 340. What were any issues with this tractor even if it was running good? Also it has a 2 point hitch and if he used a 3 point adapter, would it require a much longer PTO shaft to run a shredder?

    Hesston guards

    You will do a lot of swearing using the second picture guard and sickle with that setting. I can tell you from experience the first picture is the best setting you can get for that grass. Even then you probably will need to go slow with lots of rpms!! Good luck!!!!

    A lot of the saddle switches I have seen are really junk. I have had to take several apart and adjust the copper contacts to get them to work!!

    You can buy an entire unit from Jeff Foreman The Emblem guy found on page 88 of the last Big Red magazine. I bought one for my 300 last year and it works way better than my. old one. He says there was an update to them and his rebuilt unit had that in them.

    My 100 has the belt under the idler pulley. That was the first thing I noticed.

    Yeah I wrote down the number for the rotor. So when I went to NAPA and looked in the IH300 box there was the rotor. So my NAPA guy used AI to find the part number and he had it in stock. SO THANKS!!!!!

    I found the condenser number and it is IH200.
