    Im about to leap into the small handy easy to get onto tractor. My 520 is way to unhandy and 756 is way to hard to start in winter(maine). New tractor will be gas. So 550 0liver,135 massy,600 or 800 fords or poss d15 allis. I want a loader on it also What would be you choose. Thanks ED

    farmall 400 gas

    Had a SMTA built up to about 62 HP (had to to run new 717 New Holland chopper) Never missed lunch with it. Dry by noon. ED

    756 Int. In my opinion the best tractor and engine that Int ever made. Not to many 76 HP tractors could pull 5 16s". Given it was slow, 3rd gear but it would do it.Now it putts around 15 acres in Maine will have it till I die. ED

    Used a 4 row with the big fiberglass boxes for over 20 years. Pulled it with a super H. Cheap to run.     Shocking Corn

    Hi, Well we had a good growing season in northern Maine so far. Ive even got a few peaches on the tree. My problem is that the beefers will not be able to eat all the corn. Does anyone know at what stage you would shock corn stalks and ears so they would preserve. Thanks ED
