    Thank you for response! New to me crawler..... was ran with low oil pressure and bearings hammered out... Engine failed in winter and when I tore down I found an embarassing amount of debris and ice on intake screen of oil pump and assumed that was cause of low oil pressure and failure...

    On my crawler heads of bolts are inside housing and nuts outside pan. Pan has to be sprung wider to go over bolts. I initially thought nuts inside and outside of pan but that doesn't fit. Casting is not threaded.. it is moulded so bolt head fits in a recess and won't spin. Don't want...
