    Where's there a will

A couple of weeks ago I posted that I wondered if I had to spit my 601 to change the inner or front PTO seal. This seal separates the hydraulic reservoir from the rear end housing. Being that its hot and I'm getting lazier, I got it done by pulling the seal in instead of driving it in. Had to...

More lawn mower pulling sled questions

Email me I can give you some better info on the sled I posted. Can be done with relatively simple parts and a lot of welding. I would think a rail of 15' should be long enough. A 3500lbs-7000lbs trailer axle with springs. 2 heavy tube rollers for the weight box to roll on and a 4'x6' boat that...

    Lawn Mower pulling sled?

Local one here used a 1 ton rear axle and for the transfer weight they used wheel weights. really slick set up easy to use and could be pulled by a 1/2 ton truck.

    1998 Dodge Cummins 12 valve

Have a diesel shop in the area do a fuel pressure test or you can add a fuel pressure gauge your self . It should read a steady 8 to 10psi at wide open throttle. Sounds like your lift pump is heading south. Get it checked SOON as if it is the problem it will take the pump on the cruise to, and...

Hauling a 9000 lb tractor in wisconsin how much per mile

Depending on your equipment I wouldn't do it for less than $2 a mile for all miles. I usually do a buy the hr rate as with my semi time is money. 80 miles should take you about 1 hr 30-45 min to travel loaded and empty but where you can lose your butt is at the loading site or unloading site. It...

    Pressure washer recommendation

If you can find one that has a recirculation circuit so it doesn't burn up the pump. As far as hot water find a old hot water tank and hook it up. cold water in the cold then hook the hot side to the washer. It works great and can run about 15-25 min depending on the size of the tank.

    7.3 deisel question please

I know it seems trivial but check the oil level. If it's low on oil it will act up. Also asothers stated the glow plug relay on the engine under the beauty cover[looks like a starter relay for ford] there are two of them one for the glow plugs and one for the intake heater. Also check the wire...

He has a good group to provide the help needed. To me you may not be a person not many would help in...

    4th Gear Speed on a Farmall A

What size tires on the rear? A farmall A,B,BN originally came with 9-24 tires. If he has 11.2 or 12.4 they are about 3" taller and that will result in the 15mph 4th.
