    Farmall 560 gas question

    I agree with Mr Good. It may sound odd. but if you run out of ideas make sure the point gap is not too small. The float may be too low. The main jet could be restricted by a flake of rust.

    Walking tractor.. 4 months, to get here

    We had a Gravley convertible with a bush hog like mower. I was small and hated that thing. The handle would pinch your leg on the seat. If I had to use that thing today i'd roundup the whole lawn.

    Two problems...

    4 inch grinder and a cut off wheel will make short work of the old one. Cut where the key way is and you don't even have to be careful.

    Steering wheels are tough. If the old one is trash cut a slot almost to the shaft and drive a chisel in the cut. Are you keeping the old one?

    plow help

    When we put the plows on we would pull in the shop and jack the land side rear tire up to the furrow depth. Then the hitch was set so both plow points were touching the ground. Then only minor tuning was needed.

    Hey Grandpa….

    The screen in the sediment bowl intake is the ticket..As you use it rust will collect in the bottom of the tank and you can siphon it out . The only problem is you can still see a little fuel in the bottom when it is actually out of gas.
