Cub PTO grinds rather than engages

I am reading that the pto never actually gets in gear. It is usually the little pin in the shifter that moves the gear that locks the two shafts together is worn. You will need to pull the rear transmission cover to provide access to the shifter. Some here have welded drill bits to replace the...

    House full of mosquito

Out at the shop we have a couple 5 gal buckets with stale water and these dunks. The females lay their eggs in the water and the larva die. It has lead to a great reduction in mosquitos. Of course it has been dry here so they don't have a lot of other areas to breed. One dunk lasts about a...

    3000 dash board

Looking at a Ford 3910, need some advice please…

Yes 2wd with a 5 foot brush cutter. Too steep to go up or sideways. I had done it before when it was dry with no problem.

Looking at a Ford 3910, need some advice please…

If you want to learn from my mistake, don't cut down the hill when the grass is covered with dew. Even though the tractor was was in a low gear the tires lost traction and away I went. I could still steer but was gaining speed all the way to the bottom. I was afraid I would roll if I got...
