    Need help Identifying what year my new JD A is...

    Well I had some time to do some investigating this weekend and here is what I found: the main case number is A1140R. The water pipe flange on the top of the block is square. from this I gather it must be a 1939. the ID tag was mounted on the right side. Thanks to everyone for the help!!! Jim
