    You are supposed to turn the pto off to dump the bale. Some can get away without turning it off if the tractor has fast enough hydraulics. What happens the the belts are turning the bale the opposite way of it rolling out of the baler. This can cause hay to be pulled up in a tuff or broken...

    Check the tailgate lock valve above the left side tire. It is a rotary valve with a red handle.

    Vermeer RC 9120 Discmower

    I checked a piece of old literature that we have for the RC 9120. The minimum horsepower listed is 80HP. In my option that would be on the very edge. We have a few RC 7120's running in our area and so far we have not had any issues getting parts.

    Old Vermeer 605H ... Belt alignment ?

    If a roller that the belt goes around is off center by 1/2" then the bearing is out. The tube for the tailgate adjustment does not spin. It has 3 bolts that hold it to each tailgate side.
