    My dad has a 901 slecto speed wide front, average shape, tires are original in back but very weathered. Trying to put a price on it for insurance reasons. any ideas?

    Farmall M weight

    I have a 46 M. it has Hiesler overdrive, Hiesler live pto, and Hiesler live hydralics. Also a single frt wheel that is IH all cast rim (HEAVY). Cast wheels with 13.6 38s me on it and usally 3 #100 weights in #5500. If I switch to pressed steel,the rims and tires I have for that tractor are 15.5...

    Farmall M horsepower increase

    Check your head casting number. If its a 8060 or 8574 at least you have a ok head then. start with a good valve job and like suggested shave at least 50 thousands off. mild port work then start tunning the carb and ignition. just search this site for more info. A dyno works best if availible...

    horsepower ?

    Mine has firecrater pistons, 8060 head shaved .060. ported a little, tuned carb and ignition, with a very snsitive govenor and it will hold 58 all day long on 89 octane fuel.
