F12 Gas Tank with strange caps

Thanks sadfarmall. You gave me some good info. I looked through all of my books again, still not the clearest but from what I can tell you were right that it was a early F12 specific tank. They also started another tank for the kerosene special at #4656, with the new caps. So they must of...

F12 Gas Tank with strange caps

It's not a Regular tank they are different size and external starter tank. Also Regular and F20 have different cap placement. Reg/F20 caps are to the side, 12/14 are more centered. I'll add a picture of a 20 tank. The steering rods dictate cap placement. Also I think you have the wrong tank for...

F12 Gas Tank with strange caps

I picked this F12 up on an auction the other day and noticed that the gas caps are not anything I've seen on F12's before. They are like Regular or early F30 tank caps. It is a 80xx serial number. I have access to several Waukesha and other 12/14's and haven't seen these before. It is not a...

    Scammer

Yeah similar story, lived in NM in his grandfathers house, father died and he was cleaning out his two houses in Fallon/Reno but had a Reno phone #. He didnt want money at all to begin with, just talked, described the situation and the train sets, then became more urgent. We talked for a week at...

    Scammer

He must troll the ads here fairly regularly. I dealt with him as "Jasper Collins" from Reno/Fallon NV a couple months ago while looking for a specific HO CaseIH Athearn train sets. Someone told him about my add, his father "John" had died, selling his stuff, owned 4 hobby stores. One thing that...

    Early 806 Farmall emblems different?

Thanks for all of the input! I am leaning toward the export explanation, just have to keep my eyes open!

    Early 806 Farmall emblems different?

Farmall was a specific product line not an entire brand name. And it doesn't matter if it was 50 or a 150 years ago, authenticity is important to some people.

    Early 806 Farmall emblems different?

There is a 1963 806 around 2000 serial # on a local auction and the RH "FARMALL" plate is different than what I have seen before. Above Farmall is "MCCORMICK INTERNATIONAL". All of the other 06 and 56 plates I've seen just have MCCORMICK. Anybody have any info on the other plate?

    1026 lower radiator panel colors

They can't be replaced with 06 panels, only the 1256, 1456 and 1026 had those stype panels. But thanks for the input everybody!

    1026 lower radiator panel colors

Yeah I have seen all of the 300/400s all painted like the 50's too. But it seems like I have seen a lot of 1026's that have white panels. Never seen any of the other 56 series with white panels. If the tractor was repainted it had to be done about when it was new. It's the older style paint...

    1026 lower radiator panel colors

Hello everybody. My father recently picked up a 1026 and I had a question about the side panels on the radiator that holds the number plate. The majority I see are red, but this one and a couple others I have seen are white. I don't know any history on the other white panels I've ran across, but...
