    I have a 6.5 Honda sitting in the garage next to a Predator 6.5. Change a cover and swap mufflers and you would not know which was which. The Predator runs fine. 504 is right about the spark plugs.

    Help with my backhoe

    I need to remove the backhoe from my Ford 641. Couple of questions. Does the pump slide off the pto, do I need to unbolt the pump, or disconnect the hoses? The major problem I have is taking it off without hyd power. Pump case split. Backhoe is a Sherman 54F.

    Harbor Freight sells a good torque wrench for 11.95 on sale most every day. Get one and learn how to use it. 50# on a 12" spring scale does not equal 50lbs.ft.

    Maytag still makes a good product, however, they now have less expensive models also, stay away from them. In this case you get what you pay for. Talk to an independent appliance dealer about different brands, they will tell the true story and help you make a decision.

    Timmit, you are on the money! The HEI distributor was still used on these, they are notorious for burning up the center of the ignition rotor. By the way, there is no fuel pressure test port for the TBI, must rig it inline.
