    First time to do valve job on my 1950 N8. Bought new valves, guides, springs and keepers. Intakes valves have a shoulder that stops the guide from going all the way down to the fluted end of stem. Exhaust valves do not have the same shoulder and the guide goes all the way down, so the spring...

    I have a 134 cu in 601 that I installed the Pertonix ignition on. Pretty sure i hooked it up correctly. But, like my wife says "you could be wrong". It won't fire is the problem. Replaced coil as well. Have voltage to the coil. HELP

    Thanks for your help. It makes ordering parts a little easier. A friend gave it to me so, the price was right. Motor runs good and trans seems ok. I'll get her painted this winter.

    I'm confused. The Casting number on the block is 310905 and the stamped numbers are 41201 and 71068. Please tell me what this is.
