Tony, Thanks for your information, it is very appreciated. Can you tell me if the spring on the PTO relief valve is the same as the others? I need to locate the PTO spring as well, it's missing. -

Thank you for the tip. The internal spring was missing when I got the tractor. Previous owner had external spring wired together with a piece of barb wire. I assume the gasket for the cover is different from all the others as well. -

N8 Valve Job
Thank you. Most of the videos I watched showed the valve assembly being insert and don't mention the slack. Now I can go back to work.- 58 Impala

First time to do valve job on my 1950 N8. Bought new valves, guides, springs and keepers. Intakes valves have a shoulder that stops the guide from going all the way down to the fluted end of stem. Exhaust valves do not have the same shoulder and the guide goes all the way down, so the spring...- 58 Impala

I have a 134 cu in 601 that I installed the Pertonix ignition on. Pretty sure i hooked it up correctly. But, like my wife says "you could be wrong". It won't fire is the problem. Replaced coil as well. Have voltage to the coil. HELP -
