    Im having the same problem with my 730 diesel except my starter button works when the lower dash is pulled out but its not charging.

    Mine with live pto 1 set if wheel weights and half tank of fuel with 180 pound operator is 6030 pounds i cant get it down to pull 5500 pound less i put press steel on it.

    we are going down appoximately 8 or 9 inches we are all running 14" plows except the super c its pulling 2-12s.

    disk to pull with 730 diesel

    i wont be pulling it all the time on plowed ground will be in corn and bean stubble. Grandpa talks how back in the day he used to pull this 10' rwa with a cultipacker and a drag behind that in second gear all day on plowed ground. wanting this disk to pull behind a 120 hp 4020 also in plowed ground.

    disk to pull with 730 diesel

    i was doing a little disking with the 730 pullin a ten foot RWA an i had to look back an make sure it was there a few times i was wondering how big of one i can pull with no duals and no loaded tires in plowed ground. i was thinking of a 13 or 15 foot.

    1948 A noise in transmission

    im not sure when it was changed last i just bought the tractor. the tractor has some hours on it the belt pulley is wore alot it shifts good im going to restore the tractor so i mite just look in there and see what it find thanks for the help david

    i got a 48 A that makes a grawling noise in high range but it dont make it in low range the noise goes away if ya put a load on it but if no load it makes it. was wondering were to start lookin for problems. Thanks david

    Question about loading rear tires on JD-730

    if you some wheel weights and put on it they help with the weight and dont wear down the tires as bad when doing travel on hard surfaces

    What do you think my 730 Diesel Weighs

    I got a 730 diesel electric start it weights 8500 with the back tires bout half full of calcium with a 3 piece front weight and 3 pt with a narrow front.

    where is that at so i can go around not fun hauling two tractors on a gooseneck and a pick up. im a little over

    we stopped in a station on I71 before with the livestock trailer haulin a couple head of calves to a show and they told us not to stop anymore. we dont stop with the pickup truck and 14k pound flat trailer hauling tractors outta state and have not been stopped before.

    the wires are coming out a id say between one and two i have tried to set it back down to run at 3 and it just dies David
