    The valve is also rusted on to the plate, can’t unthreaded from plate.

    Oil pan oil level valve frozen , tried to apply heat and the solder around the retainer that the valves thread into started to melt, only the center valve is frozen, was their solder from factory sealing that retainer to the oil pan, any ideas on freeing up that valve ?

    Just got home from work, just finished measuring from the pitted area to the top of the cylinder is about 2 1/2 inches, still trying to gather information on getting that sleeve out, after getting the piston out. I appreciate everyone that trying to help, never sleeves out of any engine. Thank you

    Price on machining and the oversized piston would be pretty pricey, cheaper to replace the sleeve and piston, from what I was advised on the forum.

    just removed the valves from the cylinder head, noticed no valve seals and both exhaust/ intake valves look the same.

    You think I should try putting together and run it , did your cylinders have pitting after you were done honing ?

    The tractor was locked up , but everything thing else is in working condition rear tires are ok , needs front tires , the tractor was restored before, the spark plugs had no rust on them like it ran not long ago. Came with 3 Carburators , 2 magnetos , all the sheet metal and gas tanks are okay ...
