    I tried a speedy sleeve on a 4430 and it leaked. Ended up replacing the worn part. Wish I had better news.

    1010 timing dot

    You can time cam and crankshaft by placing crank in engine so gears mate. Rotate crank until number one crank pin is at top dead center. Then rock crank back and forth a little. You want the cam timed so lifters teater as crank goes off dead center either way. You can start with your best...

    4430 oil leak

    I have a 4430 power shift 1974. There is an oil leak from park pawl shaft. In manual it shows removal with clutch pack out. Is that the only way to remove the shaft and replace o-ring. Splitting tractor seems a bit much to replace an o-ring. Thanks for any info. Ken

    RE convert 1000 pto 540 pto on john deere 4630

    Any more info on this topic. 44 Diesel Tech was going to look at a 4520 with 1000 shaft at mid and 540 on rear. I would like to know how this was accomplished. Any help is appreciated.
