70 diesel conversion to electric start.
I just coveted mine to electric start 12v,best thing we did so far. I got mine from Wilson Farms just out side from Fredricktown Ohio. It was 750 bucks but come with every thing u need but a battery.Theres anther guy in ohio selling a kit but it was 1500 bucks. We are running 1 1000 cca...- 70Jerrid

Copper head gaskets?
Ive herd of people having trouble with them sealing up? And where can i find one for a Jd 70 diesel.- 70Jerrid

John Deere 70 Radiator removal
It dose come out as one. Should be two 5/8s bolts or 15/16wrench on the bottom of the frame. Remove the fan and lean it back, it will lift out.My 70 has a wide front so i had to take it of- 70Jerrid

JD 70 diesel help
torqued to 210ftIb reused studs and nuts but used new lead washers. Torqued cold then after operating temp. I warmed it before loading it.- 70Jerrid

JD 70 diesel help
I have a 70 diesel just did complete overhaul. Its 45 over had the head and block ground flat. Had to take 12tho off both. Well popped a head gasket,pushing exhaust out the radiator. What should do next o ring the head or copper gasket. I would appreciate any suggestions. thanks Jerrid- 70Jerrid
