    Super 55 shifter

Been working on super55. Had a few minor things left. I tried it out on the bush hog before i put it up. Everything worked fine. Well of course i put in the corner for to long and used other tractors. Went to move it around and now the shifter will not go in any gear and it's stuck in the upper...

If the tractor was in a cold area check the block between the cylinders. They were notorius for cracking there. We junked alot of ferguson 20 and 30 from the blocks being frozen. By the way none were ever pushed out the side. Had one in ffa boy that's been awhile, same problem. They...

    Questions about UDLX's

There not the only tractor that would run that fast. We traded in several row crop silver kings. Back in the 90s my dad traded on one. Instead of getting the rollback he just drove it home about 20 miles. It topped out 40mph. The other one we had was around 37. What an experience. One wheel in...

    TO-30 missing

Since it seems to die running rich. See if you can pull the plugs and see which one is rich. Not likely a fuel problem. It seems to be a firing issue. Could be plugs. Had plugs when they fired after a minute or two they would short out. Had new ones do this. Could be condensor or coil. Had...

    the agony continues

Good advice. Try a new set of points and condenser. Maybe the coil is going bad also. Had one do that. But about 33 yrs ago we traded one in. Started great and run a few minutes. Just kept getting worse. Tried everything. The distibutor grounded out. Drop another one in and run great

Already have a few different starters for that engine. Actually have a whole engine for it if I want to do that. I pulled the grill screen out and it was in pristine condition. There was some parts I was going to use off of it but the overall condition is just good to do with this one. It...

    followed me home

A BG followed me home today. The serial tag is gone. The tractor is complete even has 3 point and no welds. I'm not a mm fan even though they made good tractors. Just wondering if I should work on it or if someone needs a project or a parts tactor.

Square Baler Capacity vs Stackers on the Rack

When I grew up it would take 2 men on the wagon to keep up with a new Holland 268 baler. Then we got the 273 with thrower and about 8 bale wagons. Sometimes tough to the bales off that way.
