    OT Horse Slaughter Question

    Horse slaughter for human consumption was outlawed a couple years ago. Breeding horses for slaghter has never been profitable on its own. It has always been a way to keep the population undercontrol. Opening up the kill plants would create jobs and controll the unwanted population of horses.

    Value of Farmall H

    I bought one last year for 800 but it had a cracked head. The serial number is less than 1000 on it. It was mostly correct with 28" tires and the correct front wheels and all the early sheet metal. It is in rough condtion with no paint and lots of rust but is solid.

    I Need A Job Like This

    We use a DMI like that here in Illinois every fall. We go right through the bean stubble and it works fine. They were build right down the road from me and tested in our soil type. Our soil will hold it. I pull it with a Deere 8200 fwa. Like someone else said, talk to your local co-op or...

    It is a IH fast hitch plow to fit a 400-560 plus some later that that still had a fast hitch before everyone went to 3 point. It depends on location to what it is worth. In my area it is only worth scrap price

    I am in Illinois so it is a little too far. Trucking would be costly for that distance. Wish it was closer though.

    Napa no longer has one I tried. It is still in there catalog and online but they do not have them because Wilson no longer has them.

    Wilson called yesterday and told me they no longer carry that starter so back to finding one.

    Thank you for the info. I have been contacting salvage yards for weeks and have not found the correct one or they tell me they will call me back and do not. I was having trouble cross refferanceing the old part numbers to current numbers.
