    When you pull the pump off the shaft make sure you wire the throttle wide open so the governor components remain aligned. Keep it wired until you reinstall it in the shaft.

    If you are talking diesels the 1655 and the late 1650 heads are the same (direct injection), the early 1650 diesel heads are different(indirect injection).
