    Get a goose neck trailer, you will never regret it. Install a fold down ball hitch, then you will still have full use of the truck bed.

    I put a electric winch on my splitter, made a boom that swings 180, use a ice tong hooked to the winch cable and tong points around the chunck of wood.

    OLD, curved gear shifter does not mean it is a WD45, a lot of the 1953 WD's has the curved shift lever. I have a early 1953 WD with curved shift lever.
