    on most of the fully restored g's the rims are silver and the centers are orange front and back. Thats how i painted mine and they look good.

    It helps to have a consistent windrow, keeping the bale chamber full on each stroke. The other cause would be inconsistent tension. The side with less tention will be longer. Adjust the cranks accordingly.
