    not sure if that's the main issue but the right battery is a good place to start. it could also be that some acorns are clogging the hoses or are in the head.

    on my g i have a rubber tube that goes from the top middle down the left side of the radiator (from the back of the tractor) all the way to the bottom of the radiator.

    on most of the fully restored g's the rims are silver and the centers are orange front and back. Thats how i painted mine and they look good.

    It helps to have a consistent windrow, keeping the bale chamber full on each stroke. The other cause would be inconsistent tension. The side with less tention will be longer. Adjust the cranks accordingly.
