    This is the fitting that twisted off.

    Not saying I shouldn’t try and clean it up better. That’s beside the point. It’s the line right above the one hanging free. It’s a banjo fitting that twisted off when I removed the line.

    Thanks all. Yeah, it’s pretty greasy. I have tried multiple degreasers and the crud is just caked on. It’s lived a life mostly outside and it has been worked hard. Not a showpiece by any means, but it gets the job done. I do have mechanical knowledge so I’m not an idiot. I know lefty loosey...

    It’s an injector line, but it was the fitting on the pump that twisted off. 😕

    And now I guess I’ve done it. I was taking the fuel lines loose from the pump and one of them twisted off. Crap!!!!!

    Well, that is where it’s leaking from. On top of the pump and running down the backside.

    Hmm, now you got me thinking. I was sure it was leaking from the #2 injector line where it’s connected to the pump. I took it loose today and cleaned it up and put it back on. Gonna see if it leaks again, if so, I’ll have look behind the pump and see. I’ve got a repair kit on the way. Hopefully...

    Is there a schematic for this fuel injection pump? Haven’t been able to find one. Mine is leaking fuel from the bottom fuel line and I’m trying to determine what type of seal it takes. Thanks.
