So should I be concerned with the gauge being maxed out or is this normal? Gas engine by the way. -

oil pressure question
I have a 1961 ford 4000 industrial loader backhoe, what should the oil pressure gauge read? right now with a warm engine the gauge reads around 30 at idle and when throttled up with no load the gauge maxes out at 80. -

another newbie question.... I changed the oil on the tractor and replaced the filter and used sae 20w oil (per my father inlaws advice). after changing the oil i noticed the oil pressure shot up to 80 psi on the gauge. is this normal or do i need to use different oil. and what is the normal oil... -

Yes the pump is shot, has a crack right through the center section. It's a Cessna pump mounted to the front. I am trying to find a replacement but am haveing a hard time matching up numbers, any suggestion on where I might find one? Haven't had a chance to look local yet -
