    KCM , you are getting closer to my desire to see a restored MM RTE!!! with MM wide front. I grew up on one from 1948 on , and I also thought it was weak , but it beat a 2 horse team... At least it would not get tired after an hour or so.

    I should have been more clear. I am not thinking to remove cast centres from any axle. I do only want to bolt wheels over. In other words , are the cast irpn hubs the same forthe purpose of bolting the wheels to either 4450 or 4640 hubs??
