    You can run a hydraulic motor with a 2955 as long as the return from that valve is directed to the filter on the right side of the transmission.     roto baler

    I just picked up a new set of 12 belts for my roto-baler today. The local NH dealer found them thru an aftermarket supplier for about $500. Notice the one on the left has the over drive to fast tie a bale.

    I would use self drilling/tapping/countersunk screws. A good 3/8" drill will drill them in quickly. I think they are available in #10 or 12 sizes, use two per cross member on a 2x6 or three on a 2x10. Run them in until they are just flush with the top of the plank, if you go deeper the water...

    Just bought these two balers. The one on the left is s/n C1524; no continuous run option, but with O/D transmission. The one on the right is s/n 39908S, and is probably a parts baler. Any idea what the "S" stands for?

    New Holland 570 vs Deere 338

    You must of been haulin' fanny. I recommend 14 strokes per bale to make a consistent bale, which is about 400 per hour. I know they'll take it faster, down to 8 strokes, but the bale quality starts to deteriorate. To pick with a balewagon, they need to be about 38 inches long.
