    What did the tractors look like? I was looking at the 66 Standard Diesel and something didn't seem right. Was this an original or something Ollie put together?

    Was JD435 with GM 2 stroke any good?

    The JD 435 was made as an interim model while JD developed the 10 series tractors. They would have probably sold more if it was a model intended to be kept in the line.

    435 turbo diesel and 820 Pulling Tractor

    Did someone add a turbo to the 435? They were never turbocharged from the factory. Just the stock blower used on the Detroit 2-strokes.

    Oliver 66 Diesel Standard

    Are there any figures on how many 66 Standard tractors were produced with the Diesel engine? I know it couldn?t have been many!

    Dzus type 1/4 turn hood fasteners , improved . Source ?

    I can't remember where I got them, but I bought some threaded fasteners that have the Dzus type head. I tapped the brackets the Dzus fasteners attached to and they just threaded them in. Works great.

    Dubuque Tractors-Hoses painted or not

    When the Dubuque plant painted the 430, 435, etc., did they paint the radiator hoses, etc on the tractor with the rest of the engine? Or were the hosed installed after paint and remained unpainted black? Just curious which way they came from the factory.
