    Come to find out the clamp on the throttle shaft had moved on govenor rod don't know how since it is tight. Going to take the big zenith carb off and take a peak.

    I can also kill motor by holding throttle shaft but as soon as I let go goes back up to I'd guess 1300 rpm.

    Got a e4 pulling tractor with a 262 Buda combine motor with the e4 tractor govenor starting to act up. Won't idle down on its own without pulling it down on carb throttle shaft. Everything is free a adjusted correct. Maybe balls stuck or spring broke. I posted same on Oliver, co op page.

    It does have the Fly ball govenor.

    I can literally shut engine off if I want to but anytime I let go of the shaft it governs back up.

    Remember I can let go of the shaft and it goes back to up all by itself.
