    When to cut oats

    I seeded some alfalfa with 2 bushel oats nurse crop this spring. Oats is fully headed out now. I sold my combine so can't harvest oats. What should I do? No one needs it for hay. There is so much hay this year in so. MN you can't give it away. Ideas?

    Row Crop???

    What makes a tractor a row crop tractor? I always thought it was the narrow front, but I see a lot of wide fronts being called row crop also. Thanks, Ellis

    Jubilee doesn't like cold air

    It didn't want to make power. So I put on 4 inch flex hose and cranked main jet out a half turn. This happens every winter. This is my idea. I had a 1971 Plymouth duster that recovered heat from exhaust manifold.

    Hydraulic getting air

    If my 300 sits for a month or two I have to loosen the output side of the pump until it sprays some fluid out. I replaced the suction side hose thinking that was the problem but nothing has changed. Hi-Tran fluid level is good. Any ideas?

    Long Gone DC

    We found a picture of one of the 2 DCs originally owned by my great grandfather. One had Eagle Hitch and the other did not. The eagle hitch tractor came with a model BER plow and a EH subsoiler (we still have the subsoiler). I threw in a few other photos as well.

    New Holland 276 Twine Finger Cam

    Working on my backup baler, could not figure out why the Twine finders were not coming back to home after attempting to tie a bale, which nothing is tying. Found that the Cam is "Turning" on it's own and is not going to the home position, causing nothing to tie. I verified it does not move...

    450 CID ..... Wow that sure seems big..... I wouldnt want to be standing close to it. I still dont see how it is that big biggest iv ever seen is 395 CID.
