    Made mine from well seasoned white oak . Table saw and good wood bits are about the only things needed . Have used a few years and wear has been very little. Good luck

    Check twine tension at twine box . Older J D balers had individual adjustments and being too loose on one side can cause what you are dealing with . Good luck

    What is it with rats and baler twine

    We have had that problem before and use old fertilizer bags and tie a millers knot around the top . Works great and doesn't hinder twine feeding . Maybe the ammonia smell or taste but no rat holes since started using them .

    Long time reader first time post . I have a 1953 case vac-14 has signs of oil in the radiator . Possible causes ? Just saw an ad for same tractor on this site with same symptoms and it has me curious .
