    Oliver 1950

Well, I?m stuck up against a pit, bunker right now with the wheels cranked the wrong way & no steering. Hopefully I can fill the reservoir up long enough to get steering back temporarily. Seems like it wants to lurch forward when I let out the clutch, with it not in a gear. I tried to put it in...

    Super M and LP head

Lp head is 8574dby. Gas is 8574dbx. Super Mlp heads had a 6.75 to 1 compression ratio. Not as much as the 6 digit lp heads. Also the super M lp heads had stellite faced exhaust valves.

CASE DID FAIL. nobody seems to remember that detail. tenneco merged the 2 tractor companies together. the case transmission and rearend were not nearly as reliable as what was put in the magnum. or the front axle for that matter.

    American made screwdrivers

An 8 piece snap on set is right in your price range. I have had the same set for 16 years and have had to only replace 1 tip. There cant be enough good said about the quality of their screwdrivers. Although I do like the old handles better than the new style.

    International 1986 Hydraulic issues

i would say that your tractor is overdue for a hitchpump and a mcv pump. there not that expensive and easy to change.

    706 TA replacement

its not as bad as they make it out to be. depending on the condition of the other parts in the trans it is an easy weekend job.(unless its a cabbed tractor) it also helps to have a splitting stand. put a new mcv pump in while u have it apart too.
