Can someone educate me on registering the sickle bar with the guards on JD model 30 combine?
Sorry to pester everyone; but I picked up a John Deere model 30 pull type combine a few years ago and as time permits I've been reworking it to hopefully put it back into service. Recently I re-installed the sickle bar with new sections and guards and noticed as I moved the sickle bar flywheel...- Andrew4015

Question about Ford 501 mower sickle bar pivot bolt mounting
Thanks! The manual (so far as I've found) doesn't speak to my specific question other than saying to check the two hinge bolts frequently. I did find answers to my confusion about setting the bar lift adjusting spring under the mower frame. Still reading to understand when the log chain...- Andrew4015

I went to replace the front and rear bolts that hold the sickle bar onto the frame of my Ford 14-92 SN 1537 mower. When I got the mower the previous owner had a much longer and smaller diameter bolt for front mount. I figured it was a "make due" solution; but now I'm wondering. Naturally that...- Andrew4015

Wanted Wanted Ford 501 sickle mower 12" pulley 6-spline
I need to swap out the original 9" pulley of my 14-92 S/N 1537 with a 12". Has to be the 6 spline version. I'm also looking for the flywheel/shaft assembly.
