    Bought a 40 tractor with a two wheel narrow front end. If I turn the front wheels all the way to the left the steering wheel locks on it. If I manually move them back towards center the steering wheel unlocks and works again. What could cause this?

    Gleaner Variable Speed

    It looks like the problem is with the front pulley coming off the transmission clutch. Going from an F2 to an F and didn’t realize it needed to be greased so something probably seized up. I still would welcome input if anyone is familiar with this part of the combine.
