    2940 tractor stuck in 4 wheel drive

    2940 john deere tractor is stuck in 4 wheel drive. All the wires are of the solenoid. There are 3 prongs on the solenoid and two wires. A hot wire coming from the switch and a ground. I have 11.7 v at the hot wire. I don't know where the ground wire go. I think it goes to the prong that is...

    John Deere clutch ploblems

    Put a new cutch in the 2940 J D tractor but when it is in gear i can still turn it over by hand, I don't think I should be able to do this. Any Ideas? Does it have something to do with the hydraulics? Is their blocks in the pressure plate that i did't remove? Need help!!!!

    I don't think the clutch is engaged because I can turn it over with a bar where the starter mounts. How do you adjust it?The only think I can see is 4 boults that are down it the pressure plate .
