    Pull the pistons found out no sleeves pistons skirts are hitting the cylinder wall what is worn out to cause this has I don t think anything should make contact except the rings

    Thanks to all for this great information will be pulling out pistons today I don t mind replacing rings and pistons but I afraid the sleeves might be dry sleeves and they will be hard to remove what s the best way to get those suckers out. Thanks Mike

    Pull the head off on my lx865 3 cylinder diesel there is no score marks on the sleeves and not much of a ridge on the top of the sleeve but I have a lot of piston slap I actually think the piston is touching the sleeve when I move it from side to side as I here a noise as it were hitting...
