pretty sure this is rednecked/farmerized. Is the proper pin available or do I just do the same thing the guy before me did (modify a bolt). Otherside was replaced with a smaller bolt and it broke.

Interesting, I have a late 60's 3500 and I too found a shiny roller "bearing" pin in my drain pan when I changed the fluids. Everything seems to work OK. 3 point is a bit slow and bleeds down. I attributed this to a misplaced part during a past wheel bearing replacement?

    Leatherwork anybody?

California (unfortunately). I'm just not sure which machines are capable of what thickness of leather.

    Leatherwork anybody?

Sorry I dont do Facebook. Didn't know they had class ratings. Have to check that out. Figure she will be doing halters, chaps, wallets, purses, whatever she thinks will sell. She is very talented when it comes to tooling.

So what's the thought on cold start RPM's? My instinct is that it's not good to lug it while it's cold. Better to rev it up just a tad and distribute oil sooner. By the way that's a great starting engine even in warm weather!

She's going to work leather this summer to get school money and I envision it being a side business down the road.

She said up to 14 oz. but typically 7 oz max. She hand tools leather projects. We have an old Adler 30-7 boot patcher, but it needs serviced. Has not been used for decades and won't stitch straight. There is a Juki 251-HS locally as well as a Ferdo Pro 440. Both with tables.

Wondering if anyone here does leatherwork. Needing to buy daughter an industrial sewing machine and don't have a clue.

Little ridge tops like this. Doesn't look rocky but there are rocks not that far below the surface and sticking up here and there.

I do have areas that will disc easily, such as this clearing where my tractor is currently "parked". You can see it's a sandy clay. Wheat and barley seem to love this dirt. But I've never planted but small little test areas.
