1850 rear end after pic, now hydraulics hot

We swapped the position of the bar and had a full stroke on the lever. It looked like your pics. Reassembled and works as it should and does not get hot now. Unfortunately Im leaking the oil from the pan so have to take the whole unit back off. I inspected the pan after a weld where the idler...

1850 rear end after pic, now hydraulics hot

I used a series of die grinder bits and got down to a polish wheel. All by hand. Took a few hours. Installed the shaft only first to make sure it would spin free without force.

1850 rear end after pic, now hydraulics hot

Before pics a few posts back. Got the idler shaft and bearings back in after welding it all up. Fingers crossed on that. Installed a new hydraulic pump while top was off. ( that was the reason I took the top off to start with) . To install pump i remove the cylinder bolts, and sorta just...

    1850 rear end

Im an hour south of Cincinnati. What you asking for it? Considering cutting out a chunk of the casting and and tapping for a pillow bock bearing.

    1850 rear end

Pulled the 1850 in to replace a weak hydraulic pump this morning and found that the idler shaft had worn the rear end housing beyond repair. Anyone ever see this? Im looking for a rear end, or a blown tractor to drop my engine in.

    7200 soybean rates

I m new to beans. Have a 7200 4-row planter on 30" rows and want to no-till beans this year. I was given a set of bean plate meters JD number A55413. The book only has pounds per acre and I d like to get a 160k population. Where can I find a chart for this? I read that you just multiply corn...

    Repower 550 diesel

Has anyone ever repowered a 550? My engine blew and I dont know whether to rebuild or replace. I was thinking a turbo diesel from an F2 would sound sweet in there.

Gleaner F2 cracking corn, filler plates needed?

UPDATE. Spent an entire day under the machine with head off while it was raining. I have leveled the cylinder. Replaced the concave bars with new ones I made from 1.25 channel iron. The concave door is not flat. Dents in it. Someone ran something though this machine. I used shims and washers as...
