I took the whole valve assembly off the top of the transmission and the gasket seemed pretty good, but when I removed it from the valve assembly I found the issue. Case 2470 powershift issues
I recently bought a later model Case 2470 that had been sitting for ar least 5 years. The previous owner said it was in good operating shape when parked. John Deere 301a Navy tractor
I recently came across a 301a 3 cylinder gas tractor. It has stencilling on the hood showing a USN serial number and a large data plate near the gear shift showing John Deere and US deptartment of Navy numbers and data.
